About Jackie Bush-Turner
Jackie, a pastel artist and woodcarver, resides in Grapeview, WA. Her education centered around ceramics and sculpture. She later studied the art of woodcarving under the tutelage of Alfed Durney in Petaluma, CA. Jackie is self taught in her current medium of pastel. She began working in pastels in 2001, after being inspired to paint while walking the local wetland trails. Jackie is a member of an Artist owned gallery located in Bremerton, WA called Collective Visions, a Gallery of Art showcasing Professional West Sound Artists.
